Kevin and Nolan Knight, Founders of Knight Testing

History

Knight Testing was started in 2006 by brothers Kevin and Nolan Knight, and their colleague Pat Ballinger. Having worked in and managed captive testing laboratories in multiple industries, the three owners leveraged their experience to venture out on their own. Knight Testing first established its reputation in the orthopedic industry, providing nearby companies like Zimmer, Biomet, and DePuy access to a convenient, quality contract test laboratory with outstanding customer service.
Today, Knight Testing employs an experienced staff of test engineers, technicians, designers, and machinists in a 10,000 square foot laboratory offering mechanical testing services to a broad range of industries in the US and around the globe.

Facilities

To ensure the accuracy and repeatability of testing data, Knight Testing uses all MTS load frames, controllers and software in its laboratory. We also offer full machine shop services, proudly featuring Haas CNC machining centers. A brief description of some of our in-house capability is below:

Knight Testing provides frequent updates on your tests, particularly when we notice anything out of the ordinary. We consult with you to develop the most appropriate test plan, and point it out any time we see an opportunity to save time or money.
